Adamos Katsantonis was born in Famagusta, Cyprus. He is the 5th member of the most famous dialectic poetry family of Cyprus, the Katsantonis Family.

He studied composition in Greece. Most of his compositions concern the traditions and the national problem of his Country Cyprus. For his compositions, which cover all kinds of music, he often uses the folkloric motives and rhythms of his country, as well as traditional motives from other countries.

He has visited many countries where he presented his music, and his compositions are played by famous artists around the world. He has won many

 INTERNATIONAL PRIZES.

His latest CD, "Mother Land Cannot Be Divided", will be presented to the public by the president of the Cyprus Parliament Mr. Demtris Christofias under the patronage of UN.

 VASILITZIA – FOLKORIC GROUP

Adamos Katsantonis is the Music Director of the most famous Folkloric Group in Cyprus called VASILITZIA. Vasilitzia has performed in many countries, and won many first international prizes. He is the President of the Musicians Association.

He works as a producer and speaker in the State radio of Cyprus.
